This blog is all about rusty old crap that I find lying around. Not sure why I like this sort of thing. Partly it's the sense of nostalgia, remembering something that was once new and brilliant, maybe state-of-the-art technology from years gone by, or something that represents the pride and joy or effort of its creator. Partly it's because I hate the idea that beauty = flawless. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and while many people do like flawless, I just happen to like rust.

Anyway, on with the crap...

This fence keeps people out of the old Birnbeck pier at Weston-super-Mare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birnbeck_Island).  So while the whole pier is wonderfully rusty, this is as close as I can get.

Taken on a Samsung GT-S5230 phone.
